Youth getting employment due to skill development in Chhindwara

Emphasis not only on convenience but also on quality in Chhindwara. There is a lot of talk on skill development in the country. Chhindwara is a district where former Union Minister Kamal Nath started it 10 years ago. This is why many Skill Development Centers are being operated here. Due to which thousands of youth are engaged in employment and self-employment after training. Trained youth from small industries to multinational companies have succeeded in getting employment. Now Chhindwara has become a Skillhub.

IL&FS: Institute of Skills-

IL&FS Skills Development Corporation is India's largest vocational training company. Thousands of youths have been employed so far by training in many trades at the IL&FS Skill Development Center in Chhindwara. IL&FS Skills has been a leader in imparting skills and livelihood training to people from different social groups.

ATDC - Apparel Training & Design Center-

Apparel Design Center has so far thousands of students getting employment in dress designing. They are getting employment in big companies. Design centers are also being operated in Amarwada, Tamiya, and Parasaiya. ATDC’s short term (300 hrs.) training programs are meant for shop floor employment as factory workforce (Tailors / Sewing Machine Operator / Checker/Helper etc.) and long term courses (4 to 12 months) are for 8th/10th/12th pass youths for more different tiers of the manufacturing line.

AEGIS-

AEGIS call center gives a new identity to Chhindwara city. An AEGIS call center has started new employment for the youth of the district, currently, 800 youth are getting employment here. Five call centers of AEGIS, IFB, TCS, Rural Source opened in the district to give employment to the youth of the district. Thousands of youth are employed at these centers in Chhindwara, Sausar, Barkuhi, Ambala, and Chand.

Ashok Leyland: Learn Driving Skills-

Ashok Leyland Driving Center Institute established in Linga has so far trained more than 6000 youth. They have also found employment after training.

CII-Confederation of Indian Industry-

CII is giving employment with training. Technical training is being imparted in the campus built on 10 acres of the CII at Imlikheda. The youth here not only get technical knowledge but also have enough space for training in practical form. Thousands of youth in the district have the opportunity to gain technical knowledge of companies like Toyota, Voltas, JCB operator, Hero, Taj, SPCL, LNT, ZMR, and Maruti Suzuki by staying in Chhindwara itself. Centum Foundation Training and Coaching Employment-

Centum Foundation is running 5 training centers in the Chhindwara district.
