Kukdi Khapa waterfall is the famous waterfall of the Chhindwara district. Kukri Khapa Waterfall is a part of the Sillevani mountain range. The height of this fall is about 60 feet.

It is a seasonal waterfall. It is good to see especially in the rainy season. One can easily see the water falling from the waterfall at high speed all the time during this season. The weather also gets nice and is perfect for a family outing or picnic. Due to the waterfall of the mountain, its stream dries up after October. Here you can experience the beauty of nature. After coming here, the mind is overwhelmed. Must visit here at least once.

There are some local shops at this place from where you can also buy package food. If you want to take a bath then take extra clothes and take full care of your safety. There is also a parking facility for both 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler vehicles.
When the narrow gauge train used to run between Chhindwara and Nagpur, then the beautiful Kukdi Khapa Waterfall was visible during the journey from this train also. All the passengers enjoyed the beautiful view of the falls. But after the broad gauge conversion, it will no longer be able to be seen through the train.
How To Reach Kukdi Khapa Falls-
Kukdi Khapa Falls is located in the Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh state in the central part of India. This waterfall is on Nagpur-Chhindwara road. It is a small village in Mohkhed tehsil. These falls can be seen on the Chhindwara-Nagpur route. Kukdi Khapa is at an equal distance from Umranala and Ramakona and is therefore accessible from both places.
Kukdi Khapa Falls is located at a distance of about 33 km from the Chhindwara district.
It is about 8 km from village Las or Bichua near Umranala on Chhindwara-Nagpur road and about 16 km from Ramakona.
The place is about 100km from Nagpur.
A board indicating Kukdi khapa is available there. Kukdi Khapa Falls can be easily reached from nearby cities of Chhindwara, Sausar, Pandhurna, Savner.
The road 4 km before reaching the waterfall is pathetic. There is no proper road to reach it. You have to go by your vehicle to reach here. There is no other way to reach the village. All types of vehicles like two-wheelers, four-wheelers can go here. The road is not that good, but you can go to the village just fine. Work is still going on here.
Some important things that you have to keep in mind-
- Please bring your food if you do not plan to eat out.
- You must also carry water bottles with you.
- Do not go in the summer season. Since there is no water here in this season.
- Do not take the old people to the waterfall and it would be better if you avoid taking the children.
- Whenever you go to this place or anywhere, please do not spread dirt on that place, keep that place clean. It is your and all of us's responsibility.
- You can easily reach this place in your vehicle. This waterfall is easily accessible.
