The shooting of the film Chakravyuh was done at many locations including Tamiya, Jhirpa. Filmmaker Prakash Jha, and Bollywood actors like Abhay Deol, Arjun Rampal came.
The film Chakravyuh, based on the Naxalite problem, was shot in the dense forest of Satpura as well as at various locations in the Chhindwara district. Famous actors Abhay Deol, and Arjun Rampal had arrived along with famous producer Prakash Jha for the shooting of the film.
The film Chakravyuh was shot for several days in the year 2012 in Pachmarhi, and Tamiya and Jamai of Chhindwara. Along with many local artists, villagers also got the opportunity to act in this film. This moment has become very memorable for everyone.
The fearless director, Prakash Jha, who presented social issues well on the big screen, made the film Chakravyuh on the Naxalite problem.
Most of the shooting of this multi-starer film was done in the Satpura area. At that time some shots were shot on Abhay Deol at Saptadhara Ghat in Tamia, And at this place, about sixty artists playing the role of Naxalites were also filmed. A few days before this, Arjun Rampal had left here after shooting at Saptadhara Ghat.
Actor Arjun Rampal shot for Prakash Jha's film Chakravyuh in Pachmarhi. He thoroughly enjoyed working there. Arjun Rampal stayed there even after the shooting of his film Chakravyuh was completed in Pachmarhi. They wanted their children to see the inner and rural face of India. Therefore Arjun Rampal had called his children and wife to come to Pachmarhi. They took him in a private helicopter and gave him an amazing experience of real India.
At that time some other actors were present in Pachmarhi who continued to shoot there for a month. Director Prakash Jha kept shooting at Tamia, Jhirpa, and other places according to the location.

The film's entire shooting schedule was completed in about fifty-seven days.
The political thriller Chakravyuh, directed by Prakash Jha, also stars Abhay Deol, Esha Gupta, Manoj Bajpayee, Kabir Bedi, Om Puri, and novice Anjali Patil. The film was released on the big screen on 24 October 2012.
